Description
Villa Les Prés is a new, modern villa for 6 people with a heated private pool surrounded by a wooden terrace. From the garden, you have a beautiful and unique view of the Chateau of Entrecasteaux! The village of Entrecasteaux, with its charming center, is also within walking distance of the house.
The house is equipped with all modern comforts and tastefully decorated. The house, terrace, and pool are wonderfully south-facing. For sports enthusiasts, there is a Jeu de Boules court with petanque balls and tennis rackets. Additionally, two mountain bikes and a city bike with helmets, backpacks, and safety vests are provided. Children are also taken care of with plenty of children’s books and inflatable pool toys!

EXTERIOR
Villa Les Prés is situated on a 1000 m2 property. There is a large terrace surrounding the heated pool, equipped with ample sun loungers and a comfortable lounge set. The poolside terrace is beautifully finished with high-quality wood. French doors from the living room open onto the terrace, where an 8-person dining table is located. A large Weber gas barbecue is available for preparing delicious meals.
There is ample parking space, including one spot in the garage. For enthusiasts of petanque, a petanque court is on-site. The village of Entrecasteaux is a charming and authentic village with several delightful restaurants. The nearby village of Cotignac is also charming, offering good restaurants and a beautiful market. It’s definitely worth a visit!
A significant advantage is the proximity of the tennis court (rackets available in the house) and the football field of Entrecasteaux, just a 5-minute walk away. Three mountain bikes and one city bike are ready for use (including helmets, safety vests, etc.) for enjoyable cycling. The “cave coopérative,” where you can buy wine, is within walking distance of the property, ideal for a visit!
INTERIOR
Villa Les Prés is a tastefully and modernly furnished holiday home with a stunning view of the Chateau of Entrecasteaux. This villa for 6 people is recently built and features a modern fitted kitchen fully equipped with a ceramic hob, built-in oven, Senseo coffee maker, filter coffee machine, dishwasher, and a large refrigerator. In the utility room, there is a separate freezer and a washing machine with ironing board and iron. The living room boasts a cozy seating area with a Smart TV connected to a laptop via an HDMI cable. This laptop has a Yelo TV account, allowing you to stream Belgian, Dutch, and international channels to the television, as well as your Netflix account. Additionally, there is a radio and CD player, along with Bluetooth connectivity. WiFi (fiber-optic connection) is available throughout the entire house and extends well onto the terrace. There is also a large dining table for 8 people, and a baby cot and high chair are provided.
A bookcase with approximately 300 Dutch-language books, children’s books, and comics is available.
Large French doors in the living room open onto the terrace, where a large dining table for 8 people is also situated. Additionally, there are various sun loungers and parasols for relaxation by the pool.
The three bedrooms all feature high-quality mattresses and ample storage space. The front bedroom has its own bathroom with a shower and sink, while the two bedrooms at the rear share a spacious bathroom with a bath/shower combination and double sink. There is a separate toilet in the hallway.
For sports enthusiasts, there is a petanque court. Moreover, 2 mountain bikes, including helmets, are available for use. The owner also provides 4 tennis rackets for those who enjoy a game of tennis. The tennis courts are nearby and can be reserved at ‘Bar Central.’
* Floor cooling: This system ensures that the temperature inside the house drops slightly. It operates through a piping system in the floor construction. The temperature is generally a few degrees lower than room temperature. To prevent condensation on or in the floor, the water temperature in the pipes must not be lower than 18 degrees. This system is indirect and does not have the same effect as air conditioning.

ACTIVITIES
The house is ideally situated to practice a wide range of activities such as kayaking in the Argens (10 min), cycling / mountain biking and hiking through the nearby vineyards. You can play golf (3 golf courses in the area), tennis and horseback riding. At about 35 minutes distance you will find the natural beauty of the Gorges du Verdon, ideal for mountain climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, pedal boats etc. The Beach and sea are reachable within 50 minutes.

A must for children is the climbing course of Chateau Arnaude between Lorgues and Vidauban. There are several climbing courses and this is already possible for children from the age of 3, but also for older children and adults it is very nice and a lot of fun. New is the water park near the center of Vidauban with lots of cushions, trampolines and climbing obstacles in the water, also possible with young children, because you will all get a life jacket. There is also a terrace with bar and playground
RESTAURANTS, FOOD & WINE
There are many Provencal bistros and restaurants in the area. A must is the restaurant Bruno in Lorgues, widely known as “the truffelking”. There are many atmospheric terraces in medieval surroundings where you can enjoy a glass of rosé under the plane trees. The area is also characterized by old wine chateaux, where you can taste and buy wine at the chateau almost everywhere.
We also recommend these nice restaurants: Le Relais des Moines at Les Arcs, Les Planches and Bistrot Chez Ludo in Lorgues but also La main à la pate for the real Italian pasta and a lot of life music in the summer. Chateau Mentone at Saint Antonin du Var. Le Nid, Le salle a manger and Le Cigalou at Flayosc, Bastide des Magnans at Vidauban. For a delicious pizza or sirloin steak go to restaurant Le Vallon in Le Thoronet, or Le Tournesol is also highly recommended. The village of Cotignac is a must see with the square under the plane trees and the many delicious restaurants.
