Villa Les Prés is a tasteful and modern furnished house with a beautiful view of the Chateau of Entrecasteaux. This villa for 6 people was recently built. The house has a modern kitchen, which is fully equipped with a ceramic hob, built-in oven, Senseo, filter coffee machine, dishwasher and a large fridge. There is also a separate freezer and a washing machine with ironing board / bolt. The living room has a cozy sitting area with TV (laptop available including French and international channels but no satellite) and a radio / CD player. WIFI is available in the house. There is also a large dining table for 8 people and a cot and high chair. In the living room there are large doors to the terrace where there is also a 8 person dining table. There are also several sunbeds to relax at the pool.

The bedrooms have all three good quality mattresses and 2 bedrooms have 2 single beds, each of 2.00m x 0.80m and the 3rd bedroom with its own bedroom has 2 single beds of 2.00 x 0.90m. These mattresses are all newly purchased. Each room has sufficient storage space. The bedroom at the front has a private bathroom with shower and sink. The 2 other rooms share a spacious bathroom with bath / shower combination and a double sink. There is a separate toilet in the hallway.

* Floor cooling: This system will lower the temperature in the house slightly. This is done by means of a pipe system in the floor construction. In most cases the temperature is a few degrees lower than room temperature. To prevent condensation on or in the floor, the water temperature in the pipes must not be lower than 18 degrees. This system is indirect and does not have the same effect as air conditioning.

Villa les Prés is situated on a terrain of 1000m2. There is a large terrace around the pool with plenty of sun loungers and a comfortable lounge set. From the living room you can enter the terrace where there is an 8 person dining table. There is a large Weber gas BBQ to prepare a delicious meal. For sporty bikers there are 2 MTB bikes (including helmets, safety vests, etc…). ready to enjoy cycling.

Behind the house, is a jeu de boules alley where you can play ‘petanque’ as the French call it. The village Entrecasteaux is a cozy and very authentic village with some very nice restaurants. Also the nearby village Salernes is a nice village, with good restaurants and a nice market. Definitely worth a visit!

A big advantage is that the tennis court and the football field of Entrecasteaux are only a 5-minute walk away. The “cave coopérative” where you can buy wine is also within walking distance of the house, ideal for a visit!

The house is ideally situated to practice a wide range of activities such as kayaking in the Argens (10 min), cycling / mountain biking and hiking through the nearby vineyards. You can play golf (3 golf courses in the area), tennis and horseback riding. At about 35 minutes distance you will find the natural beauty of the Gorges du Verdon, ideal for mountain climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, pedal boats etc. The Beach and sea are reachable within 50 minutes.

A must for children is the climbing course of Chateau Arnaude between Lorgues and Vidauban. There are several climbing courses and this is already possible for children from the age of 3, but also for older children and adults it is very nice and a lot of fun. New is the water park near the center of Vidauban with lots of cushions, trampolines and climbing obstacles in the water, also possible with young children, because you will all get a life jacket. There is also a terrace with bar and playground

There are many Provencal bistros and restaurants in the area. A must is the restaurant Bruno in Lorgues, widely known as “the truffelking”. There are many atmospheric terraces in medieval surroundings where you can enjoy a glass of rosé under the plane trees. The area is also characterized by old wine chateaux, where you can taste and buy wine at the chateau almost everywhere.

We also recommend these nice restaurants: Le Relais des Moines at Les Arcs, Les Planches and Bistrot Chez Ludo in Lorgues but also La main à la pate for the real Italian pasta and a lot of life music in the summer. Chateau Mentone at Saint Antonin du Var. Le Nid, Le salle a manger and Le Cigalou at Flayosc, Bastide des Magnans at Vidauban. For a delicious pizza or sirloin steak go to restaurant Le Vallon in Le Thoronet, or Le Tournesol is also highly recommended. The village of Cotignac is a must see with the square under the plane trees and the many delicious restaurants.
