Enter by a grand wrought iron gate, you’ll find on your right parking spaces under the Oak trees. Continue on a gravel drive way, a rock garden with a palm tree on your left and a terrace for breakfast on your right. The size of the villa immediately leaves an impression. The house is built in an L-shape around a central pool terrace, that gives a lot of privacy. Around the pool and the villa is a large garden to play freely for the children or to take a morning walk on the domains walking paths. Maybe you like to play a game of petanque with your company. Everything in a beautiful natural environment.
You walk onto the pool terrace through a charming gate. Under the first mulberry tree you will find a garden set for cozy dining in the shade during the hottest part of the day. The swimming pool reinforces the first impression. The size of 14m by 10m can be called immense for a private home and it should also be mentioned that the deepest point is 2.75m. Good for diving from the springboard! A large plage over the entire width is there for the little ones or to just enjoy low tide while having a chat with your company, who in the meantime enjoy the sun on one of the sunbeds. It is in the center of the villa so directly accessible from the living room, the kitchen and the master bedroom. There is also a fence around the pool to ensure safety for the little ones (see penultimate photo)!
The house itself has a large covered terrace that is connected to the kitchen and has a large dining table and a lounge area. If you prefer to cook outside, there is an outdoor kitchen next to the house, with an electric grill from Weber, a cooler and a sink.
The outdoor area is equipped with indirect lighting, which creates a very cozy atmosphere in the evening.
Once inside the house you notice that the Provencal style continues, without being overwhelming. A spacious living room with 2 comfortable sofas, a fireplace and library invites you to relax. The living room opens into a dining room and open kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with all necessities and modern comfort. There is a gas stove, built-in oven, microwave, dishwasher, various small electrical appliances and a filter coffee machine. In the back kitchen is an American fridge/freezer with ice maker. In this utility room you will also find the washing machine and dryer.
On the ground floor, linked to the living room, there is a first bedroom. The room is very bright with a double bed, French doors opening onto the pool and a desk corner. For the warmer days there is a standing fan to keep this room nice and cool. The patio door in this bedroom is also equipped with a mosquito net so that it can be left open at night and keeps the room sufficiently cool. The annex bathroom has a double sink, a built-in shower, toilet and bidet.
On the first floor are 3 other bedrooms, the first has 2 single beds with two windows overlooking the boule court and rock garden. Across the hall, you will find a separate toilet and bathroom with double sink and bathtub. The second bedroom has 3 windows overlooking rock garden and hill side. Ensuite bathroom with shower, single sink and toilet. The third bedroom has 2 windows overlooking rock garden and the pool. Again a bathroom with shower, double sink, toilet and bidet.
All bedrooms have ample wardrobe space, ceiling fans and the windows are equipped with mosquito nets so that they can be opened at night.

The picturesque village of Lorgues is one of oldest villages in Provence, as made evidence by its still remaining ancient alleys, gates, courtyards and canals. Today’s Lorgues is also famous for its Tuesday market, the biggest in the region, and its many bars and restaurants ranging from best pizza truck to Michelin starred French restaurants.
For day trips check out the many vineyards and chateaus around Lorgues (the closest Chateau de Berne is just 20-minutes walk away), and the medieval villages such as Cotignac, Entrecasteaux and Tourtour. For a taste of French Riviera, head south to Sainte Maxime or Saint-Tropez. For mountains and lakes, head north to Gorges de Verdon and lake sainte-Croix. Either way is about a one-hour ride.
