You enter the estate of La Bastidane trough an electric gate. A long driveway takes you to the house. It is a ground floor stone house with wooden shutters and thick walls, completely in accordance with the charm rules of the Provence.
The outdoor environment is characterized by a cozy lounge area with wooden furniture and cushions, a hammock, a terrace with dining table covered by vines and a large swimming pool. The pool is fenced and measures 12 by 6 meters with a depth ranging from 1 to 2.5 meters. Long steps in the pool make it easy to get in and out. Around the pool there are single and double sun loungers and a parasol.
The immense garden has different levels with corners for a vegetable garden, a chicken run, a large enclosed area for the sheeps, … there are even turtles, all in a well-maintained setting.
The villa consists of a large living room with a cozy sitting area, fireplace and TV, a dining table and an equipped open kitchen. In the kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. There is a gas stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine and other small kitchen equipment.
The style is very romantic and rural, with many authentic elements. Likewise if you walk from the hallway to the bathroom. A free-standing bath is in the center of the room, complemented by a walk-in shower and sink. Next to the bathroom there is a separate toilet. There are 2 full bedrooms, each with a double bed and storage space, while maintaining the specific style. A third bedroom is screened off from the hallway by a curtain. Here is a single bed, a desk and closet space. Young adult children, for example, can each sleep separately. French doors connect to the garden.
The villa has no air conditioning but stays cool during the summer because of the thick walls.

Lokatie
The villa is located between St Antonin du Var and Lorgues, 3.5 kilometers from the village of Lorgues, where you will find the bakery, butcher, fish shop, various supermarkets, terraces and restaurants. In the area there are numerous wine chateaux and the famous Provencal markets. Recommended is the Tuesday morning market in Lorgues. The beaches of Frejus and St. Tropez are located 35 km away. The cities of Nice, Cannes, Toulon/Hyers can all be reached within 1 hour.

Villa La Bastidane
Zeer mooie plek met een fraai groot zwembad.
Helaas hebben we de avonduren niet buiten kunnen zitten. De tijgermug was een ware plaag en zelfs met de huidspray niet af te wenden. Daardoor hebben wij ook 14 dagen alle ramen en deuren dicht gehouden.
Het zwembad is zeer groot en fraai. Hier hebben wij heel veel plezier van gehad. Temperatuur van het water was perfect.
De woning vonden wij niet al te schoon bij aankomst. We hebben met de stofzuiger meer dan 50 spinnen aan het plafond gevangen en ook aan alle rag te zien was er in geen tijden aandacht hieraan besteed. Hetzelfde onder bedden en kasten. Dit kan echt beter!
Ook wij ondervonden de primitieve electrische bbq maar in de laatste week werd dit goed gemaakt met een splinternieuwe gas bbq. Alleen bleek de gasaansluiting niet te passen op de propaan tank dus zijn we er niks mee opgeschoten want dit kon niet snel opgelost worden.😐
Overall een hele fijne vakantie gehad en de plaats Lorgues is zeker een aanrader. De markt maar ook de vele restaurants maken het centrum erg sfeervol.

Dank voor jullie review en feedback. Het klopt inderdaad dat de muggen aanwezig zijn in de zomer in Zuid-Frankrijk. Op de ene plek wat meer dan op de ander. Wat vervelend dat jullie daar zoveel last van hebben gehad. De schoonmaak en BBQ hadden uiteraard helemaal in orde moeten zijn, onze excuses daarvoor. Inmiddels is de BBQ werkend en hebben wij aan de beheerder van de woning doorgegeven dat de schoonmaak 100% goed moet zijn. We hopen jullie nog eens te zien in één van onze Q Home woningen!
Het huis is super compleet met de keukenspullen en een onwijs fijn zwembad alles voor de keuken
Super fijn huis. Wel veel muggen. Horren zouden fijn zijn. Airco wordt niet gemist als je de deuren dicht houdt. Wel hier en daar nog wat verbeterpunten..bijv de deur van een van de slaapkamers die vast loopt. Het huis was superschoon en top voor de vakantie.
Gezellige villa op een prachtig ruim domein met als grootste troef een idyllisch zwembad.
Ideaal voor mensen die van rust houden.
Normaal gezien stond er een Ofyr barbecue maar de contactpersoon gaf aan dat deze vorige winter helaas was gestolen. Er was geen vervanging voorzien. Wel een zéér klein en vuil grilltoestel (die we uiteraard niet hebben gebruik). Spijtig dat dit niet is aangepast op de site. Gasten krijgen hierdoor niet de voorzieningen waarvoor ze betalen. Spijtig!
