You enter the estate of La Bastidane trough an electric gate. A long driveway takes you to the house. It is a ground floor stone house with wooden shutters and thick walls, completely in accordance with the charm rules of the Provence.
The outdoor environment is characterized by a cozy lounge area with wooden furniture and cushions, a hammock, a terrace with dining table covered by vines and a large swimming pool. The pool is fenced and measures 12 by 6 meters with a depth ranging from 1 to 2.5 meters. Long steps in the pool make it easy to get in and out. Around the pool there are single and double sun loungers and a parasol.
The immense garden has different levels with corners for a vegetable garden, a chicken run, a large enclosed area for the sheeps, … there are even turtles, all in a well-maintained setting.
The villa consists of a large living room with a cozy sitting area, fireplace and TV, a dining table and an equipped open kitchen. In the kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. There is a gas stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine and other small kitchen equipment.
The style is very romantic and rural, with many authentic elements. Likewise if you walk from the hallway to the bathroom. A free-standing bath is in the center of the room, complemented by a walk-in shower and sink. Next to the bathroom there is a separate toilet. There are 2 full bedrooms, each with a double bed and storage space, while maintaining the specific style. A third bedroom is screened off from the hallway by a curtain. Here is a single bed, a desk and closet space. Young adult children, for example, can each sleep separately. French doors connect to the garden.
The villa has no air conditioning but stays cool during the summer because of the thick walls.

Lokatie
The villa is located between St Antonin du Var and Lorgues, 3.5 kilometers from the village of Lorgues, where you will find the bakery, butcher, fish shop, various supermarkets, terraces and restaurants. In the area there are numerous wine chateaux and the famous Provencal markets. Recommended is the Tuesday morning market in Lorgues. The beaches of Frejus and St. Tropez are located 35 km away. The cities of Nice, Cannes, Toulon/Hyers can all be reached within 1 hour.

Charmant en authentiek huis op een groot terrein (alle privacy en rust) met heel mooi zwembad en in de tuin/het terras op elk ogenblik van de dag wel een fijn zithoekje in de schaduw. Door de dikke muren bleef het huis ook goed koel. Ter plaatse heel vriendelijke beheerders die je warm ontvangen en steeds klaar staan in geval van vragen. Aanrader!

We komen eventueel terug
goede verhuurder, snelle response op vragen. Goede en vriendelijke service ter plaatse. Het door ons gehuurde huis had zeer vele goede kenmerken (o.a. zeer vrije ligging, prachtig zwembad, heerlijke ligbedden buiten, goede bedden) Een paar meer praktische zaken zouden het huis o.i. kunnen verbeteren. (o.a. verlichting kamer, intern. tv zenders, plankje in de douche, vuilniszak bij aankomst, deurmat). Maar we overwegen dit huis jaar volgend jaar weer te boeken!
