Casa Grande Papey is accessible from a quiet road through an electric entrance gate. You can park on the driveway and this with several cars. There is also a covered parking space. The garage is not available for use.
Upon entering the house you immediately see the modern style of the interior that has been applied very consistently throughout the house. A few stairs up you reach the floor with the bedrooms, a few down you have a large living space.
The living space consists of a sitting area with cozy sofas and TV, an extendable dining table for 6 people with a view of the terrace and over the edge of the town of Draguignan, through a large sliding door. To the right of the living room there is an open kitchen with an industrial look and bar chairs to enjoy a coffee in the morning or a nice drink while you are cooking together. The kitchen also opens directly onto the terrace through sliding doors. All necessities are present, from small kitchen equipment to oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, induction hob, Nespresso coffee machine and Kitchenaid kitchen robot. There is also a storage space in the back with an extra fridge and freezer. So is the toilet.
We go outside where we have a long terrace with on one side a very attractive covered lounge area with many cushions and a hammock. Here you can enjoy the long summer evenings or on your own with a good book! On the other side there is a round table with BBQ corner. The BBQ from the photos was replaced by an electric planche to avoid the risk of fire. There is an external staircase leading up to the covered parking area, but also down to the garden and a second level terrace with a beautiful swimming pool. The pool is in concrete, measures 8 by 4 m and has a plage over the entire width of the pool, which also facilitates entry. The deeper part is 1.4 m deep. Next to the pool you will find sun loungers under a nice pergola and seating area with bar chairs. It also promises to be cozy down here during your stay.
The garden is characterized by lush greenery with flowers and herbs on and between the different levels.
Back inside the house we go to the first floor and we have 3 spacious bedrooms. The largest room has a double bed, a shelf and hanging furniture for clothes, a desk area with TV and an adjoining bathroom with a single sink and large walk-in shower. The 2 other bedrooms, 1 with a bed of 160 x 200 cm and the other 140 x 200 cm, each have a closet and share a common bathroom with a single sink and a walk-in shower. There is also an enclosed toilet.
The rooms are all air-conditioned and offer a very nice view over the valley. There is also air conditioning in the living room downstairs.

Casa Grande Papey is very easily connected to the center of the city, but also to everything that takes place in the Var. You can drive north to reach the nature reserve of the Verdon in 45 minutes, with the beautiful lake of Sainte-Croix but also the lavender fields a little further, or south for a day trip to the coast with Sainte-Maxime (and further on Saint-Tropez) and Fréjus as the nearest beaches.
Charming villages such as Flayosc, Lorgues, Cotignac and the many wine chateaus around are certainly worth a visit.
