Villa les Oliviers is a typical Provençal villa 1.5 km from the lively village of Lorgues. The interior is light and well cared for. From the bright living room with dining table, TV, fireplace and cozy sitting area you enter the covered terrace through the French doors. The adjacent kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, fridge with freezer compartments, electric oven, microwave, coffee machine, breakfast bar and a dishwasher. Your holiday home has 3 bedrooms, 1 of which has 2 single beds. In the other two bedrooms there is a double bed and these rooms have French doors to either the balcony or terrace. One bedroom is on the first floor. There are 2 bathrooms, 1 with shower on the first floor and 1 on the ground floor with Italian shower. There are 2 toilets.

Villa les Oliviers is centrally located between many vineyards and close to charming small villages in the area. You will find the local boulangerie and other small shops 1.5 km from your villa. The villa has an enclosed garden of 1500 m2, a beautiful swimming pool with ‘walk-in beach’, sun terrace and offers plenty of privacy. The pool is 9 by 4.5 meters. Sun loungers and a parasol are provided around the pool.

The covered terrace, accessible through the French doors from the living room, is generous. Here you will find a large dining table with chairs. There are several seating areas to enjoy a glass of local rosé and there is a BBQ for cozy hours outside cooking. The house is surrounded by large trees, providing sufficient shade in the warm summer and has many fragrant colorful flowers and plants. Next to the house there is a carport and ample parking for 2 cars. An ideal location for a fantastic holiday in Provence.

The house is ideally situated for a wide range of activities such as swimming in the nearby river, fishing, kayaking, cycling / mountain biking and walking through the nearby vineyards. You can play golf (3 golf courses in the area), tennis and horseback riding. There is a tennis court in Lorgues and there is a riding school on the road between Lorgues and Taradeau. At about 45 minutes distance you will find the natural beauty of the Gorges du Verdon, ideal for mountain climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, pedal boating etc. The beach and sea of Frejus and Ste Maxime are reachable within 35 minutes and 45 minutes respectively.

We recommend the adventure parc of Chateau Arnaude between Lorgues and Vidauban for the kids. There are various climbing courses and this can already be done with children who are as young as 3 years old, but also for older children. Even for the adults it is fun to swoosh trough the trees on a cable car. New is the water park near the center of Vidauban with lots of cushions, trampolines and climbing obstacles in the water. This water park is also available to children as young as 3 years old, because you all get a life jacket. There is also a terrace with playground and bar.

There are many Provencal bistros and restaurants in the surrounding area. A recommended restaurant is Bruno in Lorgues, commonly known as “the truffle king”. There are atmospheric terraces in medieval surroundings where you enjoy a glass of rosé under the plane trees. The area is also characterized by old wine chateaux, where you can taste and buy wine everywhere in the chateau.
In addition, we find these nice restaurants: Le Relais des Moines in Les Arcs, Les Planches and Bistrot Chez Ludo in Lorgues, but also La main a la Pate for the real Italian pasta, and in summer a lot of live music. Chateau Mentone at Saint Antonin du Var. Le Nid, L’oustaou and Le Cigalou in Flayosc, Bastide des Magnans in Vidauban. For a delicious pizza or entrecote, go to Le Vallon restaurant in Le Thoronet, but also Le Tournesol is a must.
