Description
Mas des Pailles is a cozy 4-persons house along the river Florièye. It is located 2.5 kilometers from the center of the Provençale village of Lorgues. There is a large private swimming pool (5x10m ) and an outdoor shower, the swimmingpool is equipped with a removable fence and there for well suited for little children. The pool house has an outdoor kitchen, a barbecue and a plancha.
There are several dining tables outside and much welcomed shade under the sycamore tree in the garden.

INTERIOR
Mas des Pailles is a 4 persons spacious cottage with an open kitchen fitted with a large fridge/freezer, oven, microwave oven and 4 ring gas cooker, dishwasher, Nespresso and filter coffee machines. There is a large dining table in the living room and kitchen another dining table in the conservatory. The property has an internet connection with Wifi and there is an airconditioning in the livingroom (open space that connects with the kitchen and other rooms, so cools down the hole house).
The living room has a sitting area with a large flat screen TV (French/international channels), DVD player, music system and a fireplace. There is a washing machine, dryer and ironing board awailable. Furthermore the house is equipped with two cots and a high chair.
Both bedrooms are fitted with double beds (190 x 160m) and ample wardrobe space. The bathroom has a basin, bathtub and separate shower.
EXTERIOR
Mas des Pailles is a cozy 4-persons house on the banks of the river Florièye ,2.5 kilometers from the center of the Provençale village of Lorgues. Mas des Pailles has a lovely 2000 m2 garden with lots of privacy. There is a large private swimming pool (5x10m) and an outdoor shower.
The pool house has an outdoor kitchen with a stove, fridge-freezer, sink, charcoal barbecue and a plancha. There are several dining tables outside with a much welcomed shade under the sycamore trees. You also have a table tennis table, in short, a wonderful comfortable house.
ACTIVITIES
Starting from the villa, there are lots of things to do:
Swimming, fishing, canoeing, mountain-biking etc. There are 3 golf courses nearby as well as tennis courts and riding centres. The Gorges de Verdon are 45 minutes’ drive away – here you can enjoy climbing, mountain-biking and canoeing. The sea is 45 minutes’ drive away, and in winter excellent ski stations like Isola 2000 and Valberg are 2 hours away by car. Valberg is 90 minutes away – this is a typical mountain village with wooden chalets and lovely outdoor terraces. It is 78 km north of Nice.
RESTAURANTS, FOOD & WINE
Numerous bistros and restaurants in the area. We recommend the famous restaurant Bruno at Lorgues, known for its truffle-based specialities. The atmospheric café terraces are just the place to enjoy a glass of rosé under shady plane trees. There are plenty of local vineyards where the owners are happy to give you a tasting of their wines.
