With 6 luxurious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, there is ample space for 12 guests. Upon request, we can expand the number of guests by up to 4 children (for a small additional fee), bringing the total number of guests to 16. The domain of Villa Saint Joseph is closed with an entrance gate within which there are many parking facilities in the shadow under the tall trees. In a side part of the domain lives a guard who has no view on the private part of the villa, nor on the garden.
The garden has a separate fence within the domain and has been completely landscaped by a garden specialist. You will find all kinds of Mediterranean plants such as palm trees and mulberry trees in parties between rock stones and a jeu de boules area. There is also a central fountain. The beautiful swimming pool of 12 by 5 meters immediately catches the eye. The pool can be heated on request and closed with an automatic shutter. There is a full-width shallow water plage on one side of the pool.
In order to enjoy the sun to the fullest, you have a lower sun terrace with a dining table and a few sun loungers at a badminton court.
The garden has a beautiful view over the valley and a sunset that you will remember for a long time.
The villa itself is a beautiful traditional Provencal villa, renovated with respect for the style of the house and very uniformly furnished. The owners have deliberately kept it simple, without too many frames on the wall and decoration, to keep the serenity. There is a travertine floor throughout the house.
The ground floor is actually elevated with some stairs at the front door and in the hallway. The first room on the right in the hall is a bedroom for 2 people, with patio doors to the outdoor terrace and annex bathroom, consisting of a bath, toilet and sink.
Further down the hallway you come into the spacious living room with semi-open kitchen. The living room is very bright with light coming from the two French doors on a large wooden dining table with matching classic chairs. The sitting area is situated around a central fireplace and consists of fix couches with matching custom-made cushions. On the left is the corner with TV on a movable arm. On the right you will find a round couch following the arch of the wall and small windows. The setting is very cozy with indirect illumination for the evening. The patio doors open onto the same lifted terrace as the bedroom. The view is phenomenal! With steps you go down to the pool and garden.
The kitchen is semi-open onto the living room through a serving hatch with wooden shutters that honor the style of the house. The kitchen itself is a jewel in the setting. From an island consisting of a cutting board, sink and dishwasher, followed by a breakfast corner with stools, to a cooking area with a Smeg stove and ovens, a microwave and an American fridge with a freezer compartment. Everything is available in abundance to cook for the whole company of guests.
Before we go to the top floor, we are pulled outside by a connection in the hallway to the covered outdoor terrace on the side of the house. You can’t believe your eyes when you see this. A covered terrace of 40 m² with beautiful wooden roof trusses, a large sitting area again with fix sofas and beautiful cushions, a large dining table and a charming outdoor kitchen. There is a Sonos music system on bleutooth. Openings in the natural stone outer walls and the arch always give a picturesque view. The kitchen is very practical with a gas plancha, cooker hood, sink, dishwasher, refrigerator and deep fryer. Looks like you’ll be spending a lot of time here together. The covered terrace opens to the garden.
The upper floor consists entirely of bedrooms, both to the left and right of a long central corridor. The bedrooms consist always of 2 single mattress boxes, which can be zipped together or placed separately. Each bedroom has its annex bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and single sink. One bedroom is adaptable in function of your company because it can become a children’s room with max. 6 single beds or it can be a parent’s bedroom where a few extra beds can be added.
The house is completely air conditioned and can switch to heating during the colder periods.

This fantastic villa is located at a height along the connection road from Vidauban to Lorgues, 5 km from the center of Lorgues. A long, bumpy access road takes you to the private land, where you can enjoy complete tranquility, overlooking the curving landscape of the green surroundings.
Lorgues is an authentic Provencal village with a lot of atmosphere during the warmer months. There are nice terraces, restaurants and charming shops. Every Tuesday there is the Provencal market where local products are offered. An opportunity to soak up the village life.
Besides Lorgues, surrounding villages such as Flayosc and Cotignac are also definitely worth a visit. And we haven’t even mentioned the many wine chateaus in the region.
The coast and larger cities such as Aix-en-Provence, Nice, Saint-Tropez, Sainte-Maxime can all be reached in an hour’s drive. Enough choice to do day trips.
