Exterior

Villa Ciel d’Or is a charming Provençal villa with a separate guest house, set on a beautifully landscaped estate of no less than 7,000 m². The property is fully enclosed with walls, fencing and an entrance gate, ensuring complete privacy and a wonderful sense of peace and tranquillity.

Surrounded by olive trees, the villa enjoys lovely views of the Provençal countryside from various spots around the grounds. On warm summer days, the private swimming pool measuring 8 x 4 metres (depth ranging from 1.20 m to 2.50 m) becomes the centre of outdoor living. Around the pool you will find an outdoor shower, comfortable sun loungers and several terraces where you can enjoy both sun and shade throughout the day.

The villa also features two covered terraces, a sunny terrace, a pétanque court, a table tennis table and a built-in barbecue, perfect for enjoyable evenings with family and friends.

Interior

The main house is spacious and has been equipped with central air conditioning in the living room (what also cools the bedrooms), providing additional comfort during the summer months.

The welcoming living room connects to a fully equipped kitchen featuring a dishwasher, oven, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. A fibre-optic internet connection is also available.

The main house offers three bedrooms:

• 2 bedrooms with a double bed (1.40 m)
• 1 bedroom with a box-spring bed (1.60 m)

There are two bathrooms:

• One bathroom with a shower, bathtub and toilet
• A second bathroom with a shower and toilet (fully renovated in 2022)

The separate guest house offers additional privacy and is ideal for a second family or several adults travelling together. It includes:

• 1 bedroom with a double bed (1.40 m)
• 1 bedroom with a box-spring bed (1.60 m)
• A bathroom with shower and toilet
• A simple kitchenette (without a cooking hob)

The combination of the main house and guest house makes Villa Ciel d’Or particularly suitable for larger groups who wish to spend their holiday together while still enjoying their own space.

For families with young children, two high chairs and two travel cots are available.

Location

Villa Ciel d’Or is located in a quiet residential area on the edge of the popular village of Lorgues. Within approximately twenty minutes on foot, you can reach the lively village centre with its charming squares, restaurants, cafés and local shops.

Lorgues is one of the most sought-after villages in Provence, renowned for its authentic atmosphere and one of the largest weekly markets in the region.

The surrounding area offers numerous characterful Provençal villages, including Flayosc, Cotignac, Salernes and Tourtour. The beautiful Abbey of Le Thoronet is also just a short drive away.

For a day by the sea, Sainte-Maxime is only about 40 kilometres away. The cities of Nice, Aix-en-Provence and Marseille are all easily accessible for a day trip. Nature lovers can reach the spectacular Gorges du Verdon and Lac de Sainte-Croix in approximately 45 minutes.

Nice Airport is about a 50-minute drive away, while Marseille Airport can be reached in approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
