Maison Montchou is a nice comfortable holiday home with a cosy interior, lots of privacy and a beautiful view. With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms Maison Montchou is ideal for two families or several couples.

The ground floor comprises of a cosy living room with a mezzanine and French doors opening onto the terrace. Next to the lounge, two steps down, you find the TV area with a fire place. International channels are available as well as a DVD / CD player. The living room is right next to the dining room also with French doors to the terrace. From the 8 persons dining table you can enjoy the stunning views over the valley and the pool. Wi-Fi connection is available throughout the house and garden.

Through the dining room you have direct access to the well-equipped kitchen. It has a gas cooker (4 rings) , oven , dishwasher, microwave oven, refrigerator, freezer and Nespresso coffee machine. The hallway gives access to 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bathroom has a WC, basin and shower. It is located next to the nursery. Here is a single bed with trundle bed (which can also be used as a double bed). Opposite the nursery you find 2 bedrooms each with a double bed. The double bedroom have direct access to a beautiful bathroom with a bathtub, Italian shower, double basin and a separate toilet.

The first floor can be reached via a staircase between the living room and the dining room. The staircase leads to the mezzanine, where you can sit and read or quietly work at the computer. A further 3 steps leads you up to a small hallway, where the master bedroom, a toilet and the third bathroom are located. The recently renovated bathroom has a double basin and a shower. The master bedroom is fitted with a double bed, spacious wardrobes and a balcony with a beautiful view over the garden and surrounding area. In the distance you can see the village of Tourrettes.

The lovely garden has a large heated infinity pool (26C) and a number of sun loungers and seating areas to enjoy the sun or the often welcoming shade. There is also an outside shower. The outdoor kitchen is equipped with a built-in barbecue and a second fridge. Further down the garden there is a Jeu de Boules court for some entertainment during your holiday. Because the house is equipped with a heated pool, central heating and fire place, it is also very suitable for rental in the pleasant spring and autumn seasons and even in winter.

In Spring and Autumn it is possible to heat the pool to 26C for a supplement of € 100 per week. In July and August the pool has a nice temperature from the heat of the sun.

The house is ideally located to perform a lot of activities such as: fishing, canoeing, (mountain)biking, climbing, several water related sports, or to take a stroll through the nearby vineyards.

When you are a wine lover you have come to the right address. There are many high quality wine chateaux in the region. The beautiful Provençal villages of Callian, Montaroux and Seillans with their weekly markets are close by. Antique lovers can visit the famous antique and brocante fair, which is organized by Michel Allongue in his bastide in Fayence 5 times a year. Good restaurants in Fayence are: Le Temps des Cerises, Moulin de Camandoule or the more luxurious Castelleras. In Seillans you can have a nice meal in: La Gloire de mon Père, Le Relais d Olea and hotel Des Deux Rocs, located on the square. In Montaroux you can enjoy French haute cuisine at the Michelin starred restaurant: Auberge des Fontaines d Aragon.
