Bastide de Berne is a very luxurious holiday home with a private heated pool. The house is suitable for 8 people of who 2 kids and is only 800m from the center of the Provencal village of Lorgues. Both outside and inside everything has been completely renewed using qualitative materials.

Bastide de Berne has a fantastic new open kitchen, which is very complete. The kitchen has an induction cooker, oven, steam oven, microwave, dishwasher, American fridge / freezer, Nespresso and filter coffee maker. The living room is modern and there is a flat screen TV with international channels. It has a beautiful, large fireplace. furthermore, there is also internet, radio / CD (sonos) and DVD. There is also a washing machine, ironing board and iron.

The house has 4 bedrooms with a double bed. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. All showers are equipped with LED lighting. There are two bathrooms with shower and single sink, 1 bathroom with large walk-in shower and double sink and 1 bathroom with a shower with steam sauna possibility and a single wash basin.

The basement of the house has a beautiful cave à vin. This is unfortunately not accessible to tenants but visible in the living room by a glass plate in the floor. There is also a luminous bar and home cinema in the basement to relax in the evening with a fun movie.

Bastide de Berne is a beautiful villa with a heated pool. The pool (4x10m) has a large staircase and a nice overflow. Everything has been completely renewed, both inside and outside. You can relax by the pool or on the terrace. There are plenty of sun loungers around the pool and there are parasols for those who prefer to lie in the shade. The pool has a maximum depth of 1.80m.

There is a second terrace next to the house where there is also a large gas BBQ. Perfect for preparing a delicious meal in the evening! There is also parking for 3 to 4 cars.

The property is located only 800m from the center of Lorgues where the bakery, butcher, supermarket, cafes and restaurants are located. In the area there are numerous wine chateaux and the famous Provençal markets. Recommended is the Tuesday morning market in Lorgues.

The beaches of Frejus and St. Tropez are located 35 km away. The cities of Nice, Cannes, Toulon and Hyers can all be reached within 1 hour.

The house is ideally situated for practicing a wide range of activities such as swimming, fishing, kayaking, biking / mountain biking and hiking through the nearby vineyards. You can play golf (3 golf courses nearby), tennis and go horse riding in the area. There is a tennis court in Le Thoronet and in Lorgues. Within 45 minutes you will find the natural beauty of the Gorges du Verdon, ideal for mountain climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, pedal boats, etc.

The beaches and sea of ​​Frejus and Ste Maxime are reached within 35 minutes and 45 minutes respectively.

We recommend the adventure parc of Chateau Arnaude between Lorgues and Vidauban for the kids. There are various climbing courses and this can already be done with children who are as young as 3 years old, but also for older children it is Nice. Even for the adults it is fun to swoosh trough the trees on a cable car. New is the water park near the center of Vidauban with lots of cushions, trampolines, slides and climbing obstacles in the water. This water park is also available to children as young as 3 years old, because you all get a life jacket. There is also a terrace with playground and bar at the waterpark.

There are many Provencal bistros and restaurants in the surrounding area. A recommended restaurant is Bruno in Lorgues, commonly known as “the truffle king”. There are atmospheric terraces in medieval surroundings where you enjoy a glass of rosé under the plane trees. The area is also characterized by old wine chateaux, where you can taste and buy wine everywhere in the chateau.

In addition, we find these nice restaurants: Le Relais des Moines in Les Arcs, Les Planches and Bistrot Chez Ludo in Lorgues, but also La main a la Pate for the real Italian pasta, and in summer a lot of live music. Chateau Mentone at Saint Antonin du Var. Le Nid, Le Salle a Manger and Le Cigalou in Flayosc, Bastide des Magnans in Vidauban. For a delicious pizza or entrecote, go to Le Vallon restaurant in Le Thoronet, but also Le Tournesol is a must.
