This is not just a holiday home; it is an oasis of peace and relaxation. Located just a stone’s throw from the center, on a hill, this villa offers unparalleled privacy at the end of a quiet street, surrounded by only four other houses.
The villa features a beautiful pool of no less than 11 meters long, complete with a walk-in beach – perfect for the little ones or for relaxing in the sun. In addition, there is a covered pool house with a comfortable lounge area and an outdoor kitchen equipped with a sink and refrigerator, so you can enjoy a refreshing drink while overlooking the stunning landscape.

Villa Temps de Repos is situated on a plot of 1680m2, accessible via a winding road, steep uphill. The villa is detached and there is a lot of privacy. The holiday house has a lovely sunny terrace, from where you have a beautiful view on Salernes. The center of Salernes is 400 meters away walking.
There is a lovely lounge set, a dining table with 8 chairs, a gas BBQ and a large Jeu de boules area. The garden faces east, so enjoy the lovely morning sun in the summer!
The swimming pool (11 x 4m) has a walk-in beach. This is great for children to play in. There are two parking spaces on site. The property is enclosed by an automatic gate on the street side.
INTERIOR
Villa Temps de Repos is a beautifully furnished 8-person holiday house. The villa has a spacious living room with sitting area, flat screen TV with streaming options and a bluetooth music player. The dining area of the living room has a spacious 8-seater dining table and a fireplace. There are also patio doors overlooking the terrace and swimming pool. Part of the terrace is covered, here is a lovely lounge set.You will find WiFi internet throughout the house.
A spacious open kitchen consists of a 3-burner induction stove, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer combination, dishwasher and Nespresso and filter coffee machine.
There are a total of 4 bedrooms. In 2 rooms there is a double bed with a mattress of 1.60 x 2.00 m in one and 1.40 x 2.00 m in the other. Both rooms have a private bathroom with shower and sink and one of them also has a toilet. There are spacious made-in wardrobes in these rooms.
The other two bedrooms share a bathroom with separate shower and sink. In the hall there is a second toilet. These two bedrooms have single beds of 2 x 90 x 200 cm.
All bedrooms have airconditioning by a central system that regulates the temperature. A baby cot is available. There is a good WiFi Fiber connection both in the house and in the garden.

Salernes, een authentiek en creatief Provençaals dorp in het hart van de Var, is wereldwijd bekend als het ‘potterie-dorp’ – dé plek voor ambachtelijke tegels en keramiek.
Wandel door de smalle straatjes met okergele huizen, fonteinen en kleurrijke luiken, en ontdek tientallen ateliers en winkeltjes waar pottenbakkers al generaties lang werken met lokale klei. Bezoek de Musée des Terres de Salernes of koop handgemaakte tegels, vazen en servies – uniek als souvenir of voor thuis.
Op donderdag- en zondagmorgen barst de gezellige markt los met kraampjes vol verse groenten, olijven, geitenkaas, lavendelhoning, tapenades en natuurlijk lokale rosé. Restaurants zijn warm en gemoedelijk: probeer **Le Moulin à Huile** voor klassieke Provençaalse gerechten op het terras, **La Fontaine** voor pizza en pasta, of **L’Olivier** voor verfijnde lokale specialiteiten. Er zijn ook bistro’s met schaduwrijke pleinen en pétanque-spelers.
Voor boodschappen: een kleine Carrefour Market en meerdere épiceries in het centrum voor dagelijks gemak; grotere supermarkten (Intermarché, Leclerc) liggen in Draguignan op 15 minuten rijden. Nabij: de Chemin de Train des Pignes (vlak fietspad) naar Lorgues of Flayosc, en binnen 30-45 min de Gorges du Verdon, Lac de Sainte-Croix of stranden van Fréjus.
Salernes biedt pure Provence: ambacht, marktplezier, goed eten en dorpse rust – ideaal voor wie het échte, creatieve Zuid-Frankrijk wil beleven.

👍 verwelkoming door Faiza. Huis héél proper. Mooi en volledig uitgerust. Rustige ligging met uitzicht op het dorp. Prima bedden en moderne badkamer(s)ensuite.
Complete luxe keuken. Het zwembad is een eye catcher, schitterend en kan verwarmd worden. Niet overbodig in mei. Huis op het oosten gericht met veel hoge bomen errond heeft invloed op de zonneplekjes op het terras en rond het zwembad vanaf 15u30. Als 70+ ers, graag enkele ligbedden of tuinstoelen met verstelbare rug. Luxe verlof gehad.
Fantastisch huis boven op een heuvel. Mooi uitzicht over het dorp. Heerlijk zwembad. Huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Internet werkt perfect.

De villa is heel rustig gelegen op korte loopafstand van het dorp.
De villa is heel rustig gelegen op korte loopafstand van het dorp. Het toegangsweggetje naar het huis is steil, maar je wordt beloond met een prachtig uitzicht op Salernes. Het huis is gezellig ingericht en de bedden zijn goed. Fijn zwembad met goede ligstoelen. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf en komen graag nog eens terug!
