The Provençal landscape before you almost resembles a painting, changing colors with each passing season. You watch the sun rise slowly and the birds begin to sing. This is the perfect moment to relax and enjoy the peace and beauty of nature.

The house features a wonderfully large pool and plenty of sun loungers. In front of the house there is a spacious covered terrace where you can eat in the shade on a warm summer day. The house is oriented towards the south and has a spacious living room with open kitchen, three bedrooms and two spacious bathrooms.
All three bedrooms are on the north side of the house, which keeps them relatively cool in the summer. All three bedrooms have a double bed of 1.60 * 2.00m and sufficient closet space.The two bathrooms both have a spacious walk-in shower, a sink and a toilet.
The outdoors is divided into terraces. At the lowest level you enter by car through the automatic entrance gate and by following a small staircase you reach the pool and the upper covered terrace of the house. There is a spacious dining table for 8 people both inside and outside and the kitchen has a beautiful American fridge with ice maker and water reservoir.
Locatie
The property is located 1.5 km from the Village of Lorgues on the Chemin de Train des Pignes, which is actually an old railway track that is no longer in use and which serves as a lovely cycle path between the villages of Lorgues, Flayosc and Salernes. There is a small, bumpy side street leading you up to the house.
The villa was recently built and is located in a small neighborhood of 3 to 4 newly built houses in the middle of nature.
It is an ideal base to explore the lovely Provencal villages in the area or to spend a day at the Gorge du verdon (40 min) or the coast (50 min). The cities of Cannes, Nice and Aix en Provence can be reached within an hour.

Villa Point de Vue
Goed: lokatie, ruim huis, prachtig uitzicht, fijn zwembad. Aandacht nodig: Staat van faciliteiten en schoonmaak
De villa is een fijne vakantieplek maar in dit segment mag er een tandje bij op een aantal vlakken:
Er was aangegeven dat de weg zou worden aangepakt in maart. Daar hebben we in september weinig van gemerkt. Niet goed voor je banden en pas op met een auto met een lage bodem.
Let op, traptreden naar huisje zijn niet waterpas aangelegd. Tricky bij gladheid.
Terras en omgeving zwembad matig schoongemaakt/geveegd. Zwembad idem, spullen van bodem gevist. Er stond nog een emmer chloor op de rand. Veel onkruid tussen kiezelstenen en rommelige tuin. Let op, sommige tegels liggen los. Houten ligbedden en zitje zijn wankel en metalen tafel en stoelen roestig.
Bij warm weer is de combinatie geen airco/geen horren/wel muggen niet prettig. Alles open zetten in de avond en de ventilatoren aan levert weinig op.
Badkamers: haken vallen van de muur, afzuiging niet schoon.
We hebben soms het riool geroken, de waterkracht was soms wat minder en de stroom viel er een keer af. Maar dit maak je bij elk huis in de provence wel mee.
Keukengerei is voor een groot deel echt aan vervanging toe en glaswerk wit uitgeslagen.
Kortom, werk aan de winkel om het weer op niveau te krijgen.

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in een prachtig huis. De foto’s geven de werkelijkheid goed weer. Het uitzicht is in het echt nog mooier. Een heerlijke plek op het terras, om te zitten en van de omgeving te genieten. Het terras is netjes afgesloten van het zwembad door een degelijk hek. De rest van de tuin is ook netjes afgesloten zodat de hond in de tuin kon blijven. De keuken is heerlijk ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. De oprit is inderdaad hobbelig maar als je rustig rijdt is het prima te doen.
Het is een heerlijk huis, met een fijn zwembad en verschillende gezellige plekjes om te zitten.

Hele fijne plek, mooi huis en prima uitgerust
Het allerlaatste stukje van het pad naar het huis heeft wel wat aandacht nodig maar als je uiteindelijk op de veranda zit kun je genieten van een prachtig uitzicht. Het is een prettig huis dat prima is uitgerust. Comfortabele bedden en ruime badkamers.

Wat betreft het laatste stukje van de toegangsweg: inmiddels zijn hier werkzaamheden uitgevoerd en is de weg netjes opgeknapt 🙂
