Description
Villa Les Aludes is a beautiful and tastefully decorated villa with a heated private pool (10x5m). The villa stands freely on a 5000m2 plot of land and has a living area of 160m2. Around the pool, there are plenty of comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas, and from the terrace, you have a splendid view over the valley. The pool features an overflow, creating the illusion of water merging into the horizon. This provides a stunning view from the living room and terrace. There is a removable fence around the pool, and the entire terrace is also fenced, making the property suitable for families with young children. The picturesque center of Tourtour is approximately 900 meters away on foot.

EXTERIOR
The holiday home Villa Les Aludes is situated on a private plot of 5000m2 and features a (heated) private pool of approximately 10x5m (with a depth of about 1.80m). It has an overflow and a wide entry staircase. The pool can be heated for an additional fee from mid-May to June and in September. During the summer months of July and August, the water already reaches a delightful temperature naturally!
Around the pool, there are plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. There’s a delightful covered terrace with a spacious dining table and sliding door. Additionally, there’s a large gas BBQ. The property is located on a south-facing slope, just above the village of Tourtour. The garden around the house is neatly landscaped, and the rest of the garden is woodland, providing optimal privacy.
INTERIOR
This splendid and tastefully decorated villa with a private pool is detached on a plot of 5000m2, offering 160m2 of living space, ensuring ample living space both indoors and outdoors.
Upon entering through the front door, you find yourself in the hallway, providing access to the living/dining room and kitchen. Both the living room and kitchen have sliding doors leading to the terrace, providing a beautiful view of the pool and the valley.
The kitchen is equipped with various appliances (including an induction hob, separate oven, microwave, dishwasher, large American fridge/freezer with ice maker, and filter, Nespresso coffee machine). Adjacent is the dining room and living room with a comfortable seating area featuring a flat-screen TV (with Flemish channels), DVD player, and stereo/CD player. There is a large dining table for 8 people both inside the living room and outside on the covered terrace.
On the ground floor, there are three spacious double bedrooms, two of which have large double beds measuring 220x180cm and built-in wardrobes. Bedroom 3 has a double bed with 2 mattresses. All three rooms have their own bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. There are 2 baby cots, 2 high chairs, a changing cushion and a buggy!
The fourth bedroom is on the first floor and has its own bathroom with a bathtub, shower, sink, and toilet. There is an additional folding bed in this room, making it suitable for 9 people.

The property boasts a convenient location close to the charming Provençal village of Tourtour (900m). Tourtour is listed among the top 10 most beautiful villages in Southern France. This charming village offers various activities during the summer months, including multiple restaurants, terraces, shops, a bakery, butcher, wine cooperative, and a playground. The larger supermarkets are in the nearby village of Aups, reachable within 10 minutes.
The surroundings are picturesque, with hills and numerous vineyards and olive groves. The location’s advantage is that within a few kilometers, there are always plenty of activities and shops available. After a busy day, you can relax in the tranquility on your own terrace or by the private pool. Lac de St. Croix at the Gorges du Verdon is a stunning lake where you can canoe through the rugged Gorges. The 15 km journey there is highly recommended!
The Mediterranean Sea is approximately 50 km away. Fréjus is a 45-minute drive, and Sainte Maxime is 55 minutes away—these being the nearest beaches. Aix en Provence is a 55-minute drive. The airports of Nice, Toulon, and Marseille are easily accessible, with Toulon and Nice reachable within 1 hour.
ACTIVITIES
The lovers of nature and hiking will enjoy themselves here. We also recommend cycling and walking in the vicinity between the vineyards.
At Lac St. Croix you can enjoy swimming, canoeing, hiking and for the real daredevils there is possibility to bungee jump or raft. At Carcès and in Roquebrune there are boarding places for canoeing on the river Argens. And in the area you can make beautiful horseback riding trips. The Gorges du Verdon is a half hour drive away. There are many beautiful hiking trails in the immediate vicinity.
RESTAURANTS, FOOD & WINE
In the villages of Tourtour, Lorgues, Flayosc, Aups, Cotignac as well as in Draguignan there are various terraces, restaurants and nice shops under the ancient plane trees.
In Tourtour we can recommend La Bastide, with a magnificant view or La Table.
You can also go for your daily groceries. The weekly Tuesday morning market Lorgues is a must for gourmets, but also the surrounding villages all have their own weekly market with local products and ready-made regional dishes.
There is a wide choice of eateries, from pizzeria to star restaurants. For wine lovers there are many wine chateaux within a stone’s throw of the house that organize their own tastings.
