The villa is built against the hill and is easily accessible by car. From the parking lot you walk via a staircase to the front door, located on the first floor of the house.
In the garden there are several cozy sitting areas that are equipped with comfortable (lounge) chairs and parasols to relax with a book or a good glass of local wine. The garden is beautifully landscaped with many steps that connect all the terraces. There is a very big driveway by the house that could be used as a jeu de boules area.
The slightly lower swimming pool has a wide walk-in staircase and a dimension of 11 by 5 meters. The depth goes from the walk-in stairs to the deepest point from 1m40 to 1m80.
On the first floor of the villa are the living room, the kitchen, 2 bedrooms each with their own bathroom and a separate toilet.
The living room is spacious with a comfortable sitting area and TV corner, adjacent to a kitchen with dining table and spacious cooking area. The kitchen is equipped with a cooking island with induction hob (4 burners), oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and all the necessities to not lack anything while cooking. There is a large covered terrace with a dining table where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning sun.
On this floor is the master bedroom, which is equipped with a double bed, dressing room and a private bathroom. The bathroom consists of a spacious walk-in shower, double sink, bath and toilet. There are patio doors to the garden. On the other side of the house is a second bedroom with two single beds that can be pushed together. The annex bathroom has a shower, single sink and toilet. Here too there are patio doors that connect to the garden.
One floor down, at pool level, there’s an apartment, but this is not included in the standard rental price. If you’d like to add one, it can be added upon request, but the maximum occupancy of 4 people must be respected. The apartement consists of a third bedroom, small living room with kitchenette and bathroom. It has its own entrance and is not internally connected to the floor above. The kitchenette is equipped with an induction hob, sink, oven, small fridge, dishwasher and again all the equipment to prepare a proper meal. A spacious bedroom has a double bed. There is a sofa bed in the living room. This one is intended to give flexibility to the division of the people over the rooms, but not to allow extra people to sleep. For example, a child can sleep in the parents’ apartment if desired. A bathroom with sink, shower and toilet makes it a picture perfect.
The living room and bedroom, again with patio doors, open onto a covered terrace with a 6-seater dining table and chairs.
Air conditioning is available in all rooms.

Villa Ferreol is only a 2 minute drive or 1 km walk from the center of the picturesque village of Lorgues. Here you can find various restaurants and cafes with cozy terraces. Don’t forget the Tuesday morning market! The beautiful Chateau de Berne with its restaurant, spa and wine tasting facilities is 2.5 km from the villa.
The villa is also located directly at the St Ferreol park, where there are many walking routes and a sports course.
Other villages such as Flayosc, Carcès and Cotignac can be reached within half an hour. For a day trip to the sea you have to count on an hour of driving, the same for the direction of Lac Sainte-Croix and the nature reserve of the Verdon.

Bedankt voor jullie mooie woorden over Villa Ferreol, het uitzicht en de omgeving. Fijn dat jullie het verblijf in het algemeen positief hebben ervaren en dat het contact met de beheerder grotendeels goed verliep. Jammer dat de afsluiting niet naar wens was, dat nemen we ter harte zodat we dit in de toekomst kunnen verbeteren! Hopelijk tot een volgende keer in één van onze woningen.
Alle keren (4x) dat we dit huis gehuurd hebben, hebben wij een heerlijke vakantie gehad in een prachtige omgeving.
Omdat dit huis ons zo goed beviel en zo’n mooi uitzicht heeft en een heerlijk groot zwembad, hebben wij het al voor de 4e keer gehuurd. Heel fijn is dat er nu overal airco is. Met Eric de beheerder hebben we door de jaren heen een plezierige band opgebouwd, we kunnen altijd bij hem terecht als er iets is.
Het huis was zeer schoon en verzorgd toen wij arriveerden. Van de everzwijnen in de tuin hebben wij geen last gehad. We hoorden van Eric dat daar maatregelen tegen getroffen waren. Blijkbaar effectieve!

Helaas best wel wat mankementen; deur slaapkamer stond los tegen de muur, keuken was niet echt schoon en het gastverblijf (3e slaapkamer) is enorm gedateerd, ruikt er zeer onaangenaam en heeft geen directe verbinding met het huis. Dus voor ons een tegenvaller en wij zijn dan ook van mening dat dit een huis voor 4 personen betreft. En de aanwezigheid van everzwijnen in de tuin is best heftig!
