Description
La Vue Infinie is a modern, luxurious villa with extraordinary views, located in lively Cotignac, one of the ‘plus beaux villages de France’. This spacious 180 m² villa (a main house and connected ground-floor apartment) sleeps 6 people and has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
The villa faces south and is set in a beautiful, tiered, Provencal garden of 1100 m² in a former olive grove, which is fully enclosed. The swimming pool (10×3.5m), which can be heated, has a long underwater seat for looking out over the panorama. Below are natural grassy terraces with olive trees and wild flowers where children can play, kick a ball, and look for lizards.
The villa is a 10-minute safe walk down a steep country lane into the beautiful village centre.
For hot days, the house has a large, covered summer kitchen with a plancha where you can cook, eat, and laze in the shade. There are four terraces with amazing views, with seating and tables for different times of day.

Interior
As the house consists of a large main house for 4 people and a connecting ground-floor apartment for 2 people, each with its own living room, kitchen and bathroom, it is an ideal house for a group travelling together who value their privacy.
There is fast WiFi everywhere, underfloor cooling in the main house and air conditioning in the apartment (or heating at Easter), mosquito nets throughout. Both house and apartment have Smart TVs so you can sign in to your Netflix, Disney + etc accounts.
There is a washing machine for guests in the summer kitchen.
The interior of La Vue Infinie is modern and stylishly furnished. The villa offers a spacious area of 180 m² and has 3 bedrooms. The bedrooms are equipped with comfortable beds. In the main house on the first floor, one bedroom has a double bed (160×200 cm), the other bedroom can either offer two single beds (90x200cm) or one large double bed (180x200cm). In the ground floor apartment, the bedroom has a double bed (160x200cm). The villa has two bathrooms in total, both of which include a bathtub, and 3 toilets. There are 3 kitchens: one in the main house, one in the apartment, and an outdoor kitchen.
The main house modern kitchen is equipped with SMEG appliances: induction cooktop (4 burners), an oven, a microwave, steamer oven, dishwasher, a large airfryer, a toaster and kettle. There’s a fridge and freezer and lots of kitchen equipment for the keen cook. The apartment kitchen has a small induction hob (2 burners), and microwave, toaster and kettle, fridge and dishwasher. Both kitchens have Nespresso coffee machines.
Exterior
The exterior of the villa provides everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The villa is situated on a 1100 m² plot and has a large heated saltwater pool measuring 10×3.5 meters. The pool includes an outdoor shower, adding extra comfort while swimming. The spacious covered terrace off the living room is perfect for outdoor dining and is equipped with an outdoor kitchen with a plancha and oven, sink, dishwasher and washing machine. There are 2 parking spaces available. The garden is fenced, ensuring ample privacy, and there is a foosball table for additional entertainment.
One of the ‘plus beaux villages de France’, Cotignac is full of life. With more than 10 restaurants and bars, including live music and dancing almost all year round indoors, and outside in the summer until the end of September, there is plenty to do without having to get in the car.
With its weekly Provencal market and charming shops, numerous beautiful squares and winding old streets with fountains, all in the shelter of an inland cliff with troglodyte caves, you can get lost for hours. In April, the wild flowers along the paths at the foot of the cliff are breathtaking. In August, the independent cinema hosts an outdoor film festival at night at the foot of the illuminated cliff and welcomes many films straight from Cannes Film Festival.
A five-minute walk up through the woods behind the villa takes you to the 16th-century Provencal chapel ‘Notre Dame de Grâce’, a place of pilgrimage, and a broad, ancient pilgrims’ path to the monastery 3 km away through olive groves and forest. Turn off it to take a rocky path down to the village and wander past ancient houses built into the cliff to have coffee and croissants, or a wonderful lunch with locals, in the ancient Place de la Mairie.
In the village there are two excellent boulangeries (one also a delicatessen), a butcher, a fresh pasta shop, a beautiful upmarket clothes shop, and many Provencal gift shops as well as the Tuesday market. A 4-minute drives takes you to a very well-stocked supermarket. There are tennis courts and paddle tennis, a skatepark and a playground, all 8-10 minutes’ walk away.
As the house sits high on a hill, you often get a welcome summer breeze, and because it faces south, you get the best of the sun all year round.
Within easy reach of the villa
The hilly surroundings with olive groves and vineyards offer easy walks, and great hiking. There are places to eat all over the area, including in vineyards – one with a sculpture trails and modern art gallery – and Michelin-star restaurants, as well as a French Caribbean family restaurant and many, many more. You can play golf at the world-famous Golf de Barbaroux (10km). Or go down to the Mediterranean, which is just an hour away – take the regular ‘Bateau Vert’ across the bay from Sainte Maxime to St Tropez, or drive to the famous beach clubs on Pampelonne Beach for lunch and people-watching. Beautiful Aix-en-Provence with its upmarket shopping and wonderful food market is 50 minutes away by car, as are the famous Gorges du Verdon and Lac Sainte Croix.
The beaches of the Mediterranean are a 40km drive. The nearest airports are Nice and Marseille.

Geweldig!
Prachtige locatie en mooi zwembad en mooie omgeving voor kinderen. Een mooi dorpje op loopafstand en prachtig uitzicht!!! Ook fijn dat er honden mee mochten komen, wij geven dit huis een dikke 10!
Een fantastische plek die nog mooier is in het echt dan op de foto’s
Wij hebben genoten van een geweldige vakantie in dit prachtige huis. Het uitzicht was ongelooflijk, de omgeving prachtig en de ontvangst zeer aangenaam. Ook de attenties van de eigenaars werden zeker geapprecieerd. Het welkomst boekje met praktische uitleg over het huis en leuke tips voor de omgeving was zeer handig.
De bedden waren voor de grote mannen in de familie niet zo handig omdat ze achteraan gesloten zijn door een houten bord en misschien wat aan de harde kant, maar dat is persoonlijke voorkeur. Een schepnetje of zelf wat vuil uit het zwembad te halen tijdens de week zou ook handig zijn.
We komen graag nog een keertje terug naar deze rustgevende plek!
What a wonderful place
We were warmly welcomed by Stephanie. She was very enthusiastic showing us around your beautiful home. It was very reassuring having someone close by to answer questions and help if needed.
During our stay we enjoyed the incredible scenery from all the cozy places and corners around the house. What a luxury to wake up to this amazing view every morning.
We loved the pool and the outdoor kitchen. The restaurant and visiting tips were very useful and interesting. We visited some fantastic places and made beautiful walks.
Cotignac definitely stole our hearts. We would love to visit again in the future

We did not want to leave but sometimes you have to go back to the real world but we will come back, if you let us.

Een ontzettend fijn, met zorg, ingericht huis; met alles erop en eraan (van keukengerei tot glaswerk en borden) op een werkelijk grandioos prachtige locatie.
De villa: ligt op loopafstand van Cotignac; harstikke leuk
De beheerster Stephanie: niet alleen aardig maar was altijd beschikbaar
De eigenaren: de handgeschreven kaart, lekkere fles wijn en cadeautje had niet gehoeven maar werd enorm gewaardeerd.
En: in werkelijkheid is alles nog veel mooier dan de foto’s op de website.
